Butterfly World

Butterfly World opened it's doors for the first time on March 28th 1988. Butterfly World is the first of it's kind in the Western Hemisphere and the largest butterfly park in the world. There are 10,000 butterflies on display with fifty different species at any given time. This place is amazingly beautiful and tranquil. It's worth every penny.

This bird was so cute. It was playing in the the water for the longest time.

The Rose Garden was very pretty and the roses were blooming!

This family always has way too much fun.
What a fun happy family and a beautiful Birthday. We had dinner at Six Tables and it was superb, as always. We had two great bottles of wine. One was a Viognier made by Eberle Winery from the Paso Robles wine region out in California. The Red wine was from Robert Pecota Winery in Napa Valley called Petite Sirah. Wonderful!

The atmosphere is wonderful and the owner is extremely accommodating. Dinner guests are served a memorable and delicious five course, prix fix meal in the comfortably appointed dining room with only six tables!

Upon arrival, guests receive a very chilled welcome glass of delicious blanc de blanc champagne. Then Chef Roland takes a few moments to introduce himself. Then the Chef provides a verbal explanation of the menu with descriptions of the three special entree choices for you to select from. He really knows his stuff!

Welcome the newest member of our family. Princess Cocoa, a combination between Princess, Georgio's name choice and Cocoa, my name choice. While on vacation we decided to stop at The Mini Pig Farm. We fell in love, as you can see with these adorable little babies. We had to have one. We chose the runt, the sweet little 6 pound black baby girl.

I have to share this Blog with everyone! I was watching the Today Show Wednesday morning and Tori Spelling was on talking about her new children’s book “Presenting Tallulah”. I have not read the book but the cover caught my attention. I think this is the BEST illustration of a children’s book cover I have ever seen. I can’t stop looking at it. It’s AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! So I had to research who this amazing artist was. And I found her! Vanessa Brantley Newton. She has a Blog that you have to check out. So I posted a comment on her Blog praising her wonderful work and she sent me an email. How sweet she is! I’m sharing it with you now…
